This bucket bag is unique with it’s lock strap closure, cute handles, and backpack straps. It’s a relatively quick sew and a great bag to feature a print in the front paired with sleek vinyl for the back and straps. On the inside, you’ll find a wide slip pocket divided into three sections as well as a zippered pocket.
The bag is named for my one and only sister, Arianne. Learn how to pronounce it here.
Finished Size:
8” W x 12” H x 8” D
20cm W x 30cm H x 20cm D
Complexity: On a scale of Boisterous Beginner/Adventurous Intermediate/Excitingly Advanced, this bag is Boisterous Beginner. It has some more advanced beginner skills but nothing you can’t tackle. Domestic friendly. Rectangular pieces are only given by cut chart.

IMPORTANT The pattern is drafted for soft vinyl or soft faux leather. It is meant to be a slouchier top and structured bottom of the bag. It is not recommended that the BACK PANEL be made out of fabric due to the hidden connector. However, if you wish to use a focal print in fabric on the FRONT PANEL, you can. Simply ensure you cut the appropriate interfacing for your fabric. I recommend one or two layers of a woven interfacing on fabrics. Cork can be used but it does add much more structure to the bag and can make the assembly and topstitching a bit more difficult.
