About the Tiny Cata Cross-Body
The Tiny Cata is a much smaller version of her best-selling big sister, the Catalina Cross-Body Sling!
It is a small, trendy bag that has a pieced together front technique or plain front option to show off fun prints. It can be worn as a regular cross-body or as a sling.
Inside, there is a main compartment to hold your most basic necessities: phone (depending on size), keys, a few cards, chapstick, etc.
It is fully secured with a double zipper main closure. Both a strap and wristlet are written into the pattern.
It has a bound finish.
I've created this tiny version due to much demand. I get regular requests for a scaled down version. Enjoy!

- 1/3 yd (61cm) Vinyl, faux leather, or cork at 54” (137cm) WOF ¹
- 1/4 yd (23cm) Woven Lining at 44” (112cm) WOF
- 11” x 16” (28cm x 41cm) Woven Interfacing at 20” (51cm) WOF
- 6” x 14” (15.5cm x 36cm) Pellon Decovil Light 525 at 17" (43cm) WOF
¹ Woven fabric can be used for the exterior with this bag. If using woven, I suggest two layers of woven interfacing on all woven exterior pieces. Then stabilize as the pattern suggests.
